summary: you're trapped in a trial and order to pass you must break alice's curse by performing ballad of the witches' road. midway through you realize you've been impaled and pass out at the end of the performance. a heart-to-heart with agatha during your recovery turns sour.
links: part 1, part 2
🖤 You find yourself in a dimly lit studio as a metronome ticks ominously in the background. For a moment it's quiet and tense the small group gathered being uncertain what to do.
💙 [ Alice ] stares at the piano contemplatively and [ Agatha ] watches declaring that she's right. [ Alice ] immediately shuts it down and you confusedly stare between the two: What?
🖤 In order to survive the trial they have to play Lorna's Ballad. Between yourself, [ Agatha ] and [ Rio ] you come to the conclusion that the true purpose of this well-known and popular ballad was that it was a protection spell to save her daughter from the family curse.
💙 There's hesitance before the screeching of the curse calls all into action. You volunteer to play the guitar when no one else rushes to play - saying you can "play it, sort of".
🖤 The song begins and almost immediately the curse grabs onto [ Agatha ] burning her into her shoulders. The song stops as everyone worries, but she refuses to fall to ordering them all to Keep, playing.
💙 As you play the Demon gets angry and starts to set fire to the studio which slowly begins to burn everything around you, creeping to the center. During this time in a particular movement you feel sharp pain - you'd been impaled with a large piece of glass in the abdomen without realizing it at some point. You do not stop playing.
🖤 The curse becomes visible towards the end of the song and [ Alice ], determined and more alive than she'd been in her life at that moment, declares that she can kill it and puts every ounce of her being into finishing the song. Even as the curse lands on her in its last desperate, fiery attempt before burning to a crisp itself.
💙 The fire dies and the metronome stops.
🖤 For a moment, everyone can rejoice. Except YOU. The injury has taken it's toll and a sweaty, weak mess you can only give a cheery exclamation of We did it? Yay! before passing out.
💙 When you wake up, you are in a forest. The leaves beneath you and the forest itself are tinged a pastel purple. You've been placed under a half tent made of branches and are covered in someone's [ Agatha ] jacket. When you shift in position you find the culprit is sitting with you and she scoffs upon seeing you: Still alive. Great. She cannot quite hide the small smile.
🖤 She pretends not to care even as you ask: Did you put the sigil on me? She considers it for a moment before answering no and then pausing curiously - because, actually, if she did she wouldn't even remember. Once placed a sigil will work even on the witch who cast them, so they don't like to use them.
💙 You can't help it you have to ask: Can it be lifted?
🖤 "Sigils are destroyed, not lifted," she says and you start to ask but before you can finish she cuts in, "and before you ask 'how' in that curious little voice of yours: the answer is when they're no longer needed." It's not the answer you want to hear so you look away. Knowing this she adds in, in a surprisingly tender moment, "You don't have to know a person's name to know who they are."
💙 You appreciate it more than you can say, but you can't help the sass: Careful you don't say something nice to me. She scoffs it away and after a moment you ask another question: "Agatha, what really happened to your son?"
🖤 And just like that, the softness that Agatha had given you disappears. She becomes cold and lifeless as she gets up: Heal fast, we're not staying here long. She leaves you there to your thoughts.

summary: billy wakes up in william's body after he dies. he doesn't remember anything more than tommy's name. but his parents worry and they're good people, so he tries to be what they need.
links: This one is probably easier to just watch | It does include the aftermaths of a car crash (death), and body dysmorphia
The first 13 seconds are for visual/viewer contexts. At that point William is dead.
-> He's younger, 13 (joe does not look 13, sorry joe)
-> Starts with coming back to life. He does get to hear the phrase, "Good night, Tommy," "Good night, Billy" in the seconds he comes back. The first word he gasps is Tommy's name.
-> When asked his name and where he is, he's unable to answer. He doesn't know who's around him.
-> When he looks into the mirror there's an immediate mental realization: This is not my body. He's scared.
-> In the hospital he seems lost and confused. For a glance the name "KAPLAN, WILLIAM" is shown on a patient bracelet.
-> His parents visit and try to be normal, his dad makes a joke. Both parents mentally get annoyed at each other, Billy hears it and tries to respond asking them not to fight. This confuses them, because they're not fighting.
-> They say that physically everything is fine, but the amnesia probably needs time to go away.
-> They say he can go home tomorrow and he's a little uncertain.
-> The next day they go home and the Kaplans are doing their best to make him feel at home, but the family dog barks at him and he's scared/lost and so similarly: Their mental thoughts are worry for their son, if the amnesia will ever go away, will he ever be the same, how can they help, they just want their son back. It gets louder and louder and overwhelms Billy who shouts at them to stop worrying.
-> He apologizes immediately and tries to smooth things out, asking to do things like see his room (his mother thought that it might help, she's confused when he says he should) and offer to make dinner.
-> In his room it's stilll... once again wholly unfamiliar. When he looks in the mirror he sees the wrong person. He tries to convince himself over and over again: I'm William Kaplan. In that moment, he decides that whoever else he was - it didn't matter. Who he needed to be was William Kaplan for the good, loving parents who just lost their son.

summary: agatha finds billy after his reveal. billy breaks the sigil hiding him from other witches and they discuss what billy really wants from the road - because it's not power.
links: 6min
🖤 The memory starts in an increasingly familiar forest. The leaves and the scenery are all tinged an orangesh yellow. You hold a sigil in your palm, rotating it in consideration. After a moment, you close your hand around it and crush it easily. Sigils are destroyed, not broken, and only when they're no longer needed. And so it seems it isn't as you let it drop to the ground.
💙 Nothing monumental has happened, but everything has changed.
🖤 Behind you, you hear someone approaching. You do not get up from where you sit or turn to them. The only indication you hear them is the fact you turn down your hood in their approach. You are quiet, you are still. You are forcing yourself to become a vacuum.
💙 "That was quite the debut," she starts and you swallow something back as she continues on in a mocking tone, "a sigil - what's that? Power is what I'm missing. Hardly!" "Power doesn't interest me," you return evenly, it's a more firm tone than you've taken before. "Keep telling yourself that."
🖤 You quiet a moment, shaking your head. You let that go - because power isn't important. "When did you figure it out?" You ask instead, still not looking at her.
💙 "I had a feeling when we first met. Even with the sigil in the way you and your mother have the same tell," she comments and it's this - this that gets your attention enough to get up and turn to look at her. "Which is?" "Very inconvenient for you. I wasn't sure sure until you - [ she makes blasting motions and gestures and terrorized screaming ]." You look down and away - the guilt in the uncomfortableness eating at you. She's mocking you, too, and you don't like that. You turn away from her entirely.
🖤 She stops. You do not turn back. "It's nice to see you again, Billy."
💙 You take a breath and, perhaps, for a moment something feels right but more importantly - this makes you turn back. "Billy. William." She nods her head, eyes teary, and she almost looks proud "You can hear me now."
🖤 "Every witch with a beating heart can hear you now." You tilt your head down again, the guilt returning. Agatha catches on, "Ah. Lilia and Jen - well. What you did was - " She is not helping - "but life goes on! Yours, anyway. I mean - I've killed [ she tries to count it out on her fingers but does a whoops who knows! look ] my share!" You interject, ""I'm not like you!" "Now where have I heard that before?" She looks at you mockingly and you turn your head away.
💙 Agatha must continue on and she excitedly comes closer asking you where you got that fresh body you were wearing. Unmoving as you had been you once more look away and for once - Agatha relents. She questions it no further but she's intent on you knowing one thing: "But don't you dare feel guilty about your talent. You survived like witches have been doing for centuries. [...] That's what kept you alive, that's what makes you special. That's what makes you a witch."
🖤 Thinking her job is done, Agatha moves passed you talking about how if you're going to make it to the end. You stop her then: "We? I don't need you anymore. I don't think I ever did." You try to summon the magick to your finger tips, it comes and it dissipates. Agatha laughs mockingly. You huff, "Whatever, you know it's there. I can finish the road on my own."
💙 She continues to mock you and then - realizing something is off - she starts to antagonize you about why you really need the Witches Road. Power, after all, isn't needed - you already have big magick (even if you can't control it). Is it your mother? No, she abandoned her family for a town full of strangers. Robopapa? No, who knows where he is or in how many parts. So who is left -
🖤 "Oh! I know! There's two of you! You're after Toby -" "Tommy. He's out there. I can sense him I just can't find him."
💙 "You really are a Maximoff otherwise," Agatha pauses for emphasis of a finger pointing to everything, "none of this would be nearly as dramatic."
🖤 "He's my brother," you snap back taking a step closer - using your height against her, your words becoming more fierce and pointed with each sentence "if you really want to finish this together just know: I do not trust you. At all. Ever." She gives a small laugh in response and mocks you further.
💙 "Got it. Let's go find the next trial. Who's ever last is a nice person," she calls over her shoulder as she begins to walk away.
🖤 You shake your head. "I'm not that nice," you mutter in that cool undertone, pulling the hood back up as you follow after her.

— you are so much like your mother
🖤 You are hurt. You are mournful - you are mourning. You feel betrayed. You are angry — likely more angry than you ever feel you've been in your life. This is how the memory starts, with you storming up the ladder of a cabin and back into the forest. This time the leaves on the ground and the forest itself are tinged an orangeish yellow.
💙 You are looking for someone. Agatha. "How could you?" You demand as you turn the corner and see her, storming in her direction. You do not notice the way she stumbles over her her words, trying to get them out. Or if you do - you think it might be another trick. What's important now is: "How could you kill her?"
🖤 She places a hand to your chest to stop you from coming closer she stammers once more, "I couldn't control it."
💙 "Yes, you could have," you say fiercely and the rest comes out through your teeth, not hiding your frustration, "don't lie to me." She looks at you and tells you she's not lying. You don't believe her.
🖤 "You wanted her power. This is what this has always been about for you isn't it," you say and the anger is there, but so is that sadness and betrayal. That there was some hope this wasn't what it was about - behind you two others approach. [ Jen ] comes first and reminds you that it's always been about this, for any of us (you, too, it seems to imply). [ Lilia ] looks at you sadly but states all the same: death comes for us all.
💙 There's still something in your voice, breaking, as you turn away from them walking away to look at Agatha. "So that's what it means to be a witch? Killing people to serve your own agenda? No. Not for me." Agatha tilts her had at you with a smile that's as much knowing as it is mocking. It grows wider as she laughs, coming closer. You try to still yourself - to make yourself not feel, to not let her get to you - as she reaches up to whisper in your ear: Are you sure?.
🖤 She starts to move backwards once more, but not without placing two fingers under your chin and lifting it up to force you to look at her. Once you do she says, "You are so much like your mother." And then she steps back and turns away back down the path expecting you to follow her. She stops long enough to look back with that continued mocking wave and smile, "Come along, pet."
💙 And that was absolutely the last thing she wanted to say - to do - because that dam you'd been trying to build up this whole time bursts. The anger you've been fighting shows itself in shallow breathing and in the feeling of electric magick at your fingertips - You don't realize you're doing it. You do realize you're doing it. You do not stop it, in spite of the bad thing you are about to do. You do not stop it because you are just so furious in that moment, more furious than you have ever been in your life.
🖤 You take control over the minds of [ Jen ] and [ Lilia ] they grab Agatha and begin dragging her back. Agatha at first amused demands to know what's going on, but once she does becomes more panicked. She asks for help. She sees you - She knows you're doing it. Teen. Stop.. You do not stop. The other two women throw Agatha into the quick sand and she sinks, calling for help, until she's seen no more. The move of using the other two to throw her is deliberate - even if you're not fully conscious of it - because you know that turning your power on Agatha can kill you because she siphons any power used against her.
💙 The two women still under your control turn to you. You're still angry. More at Agatha than them, but maybe them too. And perhaps you can't fully control it, but some part of you means it as you force the magick to dispel with a yell. [ Jen ] and [ Lilia ] go flying, too, into another pit of quicksand and you do nothing to help.

summary: billy has dropped the "william act" towards agatha and has grown cold and distant. the travel the road together until they reach a castle - once inside they find the new trial: perform the right reading in tarot or death by falling swords. lilia and jen tumble in and lilia takes over the reading.
links: part 1, part 2, part 3 (it's like 10 minutes total, the episode is done out of order so different clips)
🖤 The vision starts with you and Agatha walking the Witches' Road. The Road itself is a familiar orangeish-yellow. Although you walk essentially side-by-side, you do not talk to Agatha nor do you look at her. You're trying to close yourself off to her or - perhaps - as she says taunts you about it possibly causing a nosebleed you are trying to read her mind. Maybe it's both!
💙 "I'm not," you say without looking at her with a cold manner that's become your new routine. Agatha gives a ho of a laugh and continues on, "You can just ask me your questions. Aloud." You stab immediately to where you know she's unlikely to answer, "Okay, so where's Rio?"
🖤 "Not that question," she retorts and then tilts her head in your direction, "any other queries for your old babysitter? That's the whole reason you bought a ticket to ride - isn't it? I'm your mom's... ex best friend."
💙 You haven't looked at her this entire time. You've stone-walled her as much as you can, but this cause you to turn to her with no lack of vehemence.
🖤 "I'll get what I want at the end of the Road. And she's not my mom, I have a mom."
💙 Agatha pretends to be intimidated. You continue walking for a few more moments, but your curiosity wins out. "Is Wanda Maximoff really dead?" With no uncertain truth, you know this is the mother she was hinting at. She responds immediately with, "Yes" but deciding that she can't not mess with you adds in a - No, Maybe. Irritated you ask which is it to which she tells you, "If you want a straight answer ask a straight lady." You roll your eyes at the MCU's attempt to keep Wanda's death vague.
🖤 The Road leads you to a foreboding castle. Agatha attempts to commentate on it, but you can't help the snark of More vague insight, thank you. "In my experience," she begins but you're quick to cut her off with that growing coldness. "In your experience? I honestly believed your experience would be the key to our success here."
💙 She counters that the two of them are alive and that must mean success, but you don't agree. You tell her you doubt she's ever actually been on the Road before and walk past her to the castle.
🖤 The two of you push the doors to the castle open together and are met with the inside of a castle spire. You're now dressed in popular media witch costumes (Elphaba and Maleficient). Taking in the castle and your outfits you can't help but sass her to "Prove it," that Elphaba was based off of her.
💙 Agatha finds the castle's trial to be deck of Tarot Cards and a table that reads "your path winds out of time". Excited that you guys might make it out of this one because you kind of know Tarot you pick up the cards and the trial begins.
🖤 You read for Agatha. It does not go well because the first card you pull is the Chariot but you don't even know it's name. Agatha calls you out on it, saying that the name's on the card and you blow her off with a "whatever" and place the card down. The moment you do a sword falls from above. Looking up you both find that your danger in this trial is a ceiling full of swords that will fall each time you get it wrong.
💙 A little more wary, the two of you continue. You pull out the next card: Seven of Swords. You know this one! You tell her that it means deception and betrayal and Agatha agrees she's all of those things. But you counter that it's reversed, so it means she must be telling the truth.
🖤 She shrugs her shoulders at you as if to say: Who knows? You make a pffting sound as you place the card down, "Well that can't be right."Another sword falls directly behind you.
💙 Agatha, now done with your attempt at reading, grabs up the cards calling tarot a con. You disagree, but it doesn't matter - Agatha starts wildly placing the cards down on the table. Predictably, the swords start falling from the ceiling with each placement as she (panicked) manically laughs and you just become immediately alarmed.
🖤 A card goes down and you have just enough time to look up and down and jump out of your seat before it slices through it where you would have just been sitting. From the ground you huff at her, "Your turn is going great!" She calls it a numbers games and they just have to get all the swords out of the ceiling - without dying to them - and you tell her that the maths aren't mathing.
💙 As if to show Agatha how very wrong she is, the ceiling starts to come down. The two of you look at it and you wish out loud that Lilia was here... and at that precise moment, Lilia and Jen tumble through a bookshelf (dressed as Galinda and the Evil Queen).
🖤 "You're alive," you exclaim quietly and realizing this take a small step back - You had been the one to try to kill them. Sensing this as she gets her bearings Lilia waves a hand at you, "Relax, baby, we're cool." "We are?!" Jen cries.
💙 Lilia approaches the table and asks who massacred the spread. On queue you and Agatha point at each other saying it was the other but - really - Agatha is the one caught red-handed as she hurriedly puts the deck down.
🖤 Lilia asks who the querent is. You hop in immediately - "You mean who's the subject? Me. I'm the queerent," you try to joke.
💙 She settles into doing the reading quickly, but the other two women are fussed. They say they don't have time for it and the only thing they need to know is how to get out of the trial. Lilia is insistent that Tarot must be done properly and that you - Teen - must ask a question vital to his journey on Earth (that is not just not getting impaled).
🖤 "Am I William or am I Billy?" You finally blurt out and Lilia smiles at you, "Excellent question."
💙 Lilia explains what the spread is. Nothing happens so the others urge her to go on. She tells you to draw your first card. You are the Magician. You have enormous potential and the ability to turn all of your goals into reality. Very fitting. She places the card down. Another sword falls.
🖤 Continue, she insists, as panic sets in on the group. What's missing? The Sun. Good fortune, joy, reunion. Reunion? You ask as she starts to place the card down, but another sword drops.
💙 Pick again - the path behind. You pick up a card, but she doesn't get to see it before another sword begins to drop - again exactly where Lilia would be seated. Agatha tackles her out of the chair to save her.
🖤 Ill-amused and out of sorts, Lilia pushes her away and moves to get up. "Are you okay?" You ask but unlike moments before Lilia is irritated to see you. She pushes you back to a pillar all the while with you squeaking, "Ow? I thought we were cool - !"
💙 "We are not cool, Teenager," she hisses at you once she has you pinned. Jen from her corner gives an ooooh, "Damn! Using his full name!"
🖤 "I'm sorry - I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have lashed out you like that. You didn't deserve to -"You stop. You can hear Lilia. You can hear her so loudly now, but she doesn't say a word she just glares at you. You respond, because when it's this loud you can't help it. "I wasn't hiding my power from you. I didn't know that I could - I'm not lying to you! It was a surprise to me, too. If I had known - I would've - I would've - Yes. Of course, I would have used it to save Alice. "
💙 "You're reading my mind," She comments breathlessly. "Only because it's so loud," you tell her and then quickly, "No offense."
🖤 "... I remember you now. Your Bar Mitzvah." This causes you to pause. It's a completely unexpected remark and for a moment you've got to grapple with that while Jen pulls Lilia to the side to tell her that they're not mad at you anymore and that Lilia's the one who told her that time was an illusion. Lilia gets back to work.
💙 You go to help her remove the sword from the seat, tentative in motion, telling her that you're glad she's here. She smiles a little ruefully, "Only because you need me now. Ain't that just like a witch?"
🖤 A moment. You have to ask her now, while you have the chance, "Lilia? Are you the one who cast the sigil on me?"
💙 "I saw what was going to happen to you that night. I saw who you were and who you would become. I knew you'd need time."
🖤 For a single moment theres a somber feeling and then multiple swords start to fall from the ceiling. "We didn't even put any cards down!" Jen exclaims. The ceiling begins to lower once more.
💙 "Maybe no cards is as bad as the wrong cards," You remark as the hour glass that marks your timer continues to go down alongside the ceiling. The vision ends.

Clip Link It's 4 minutes, so nice and easy.
Technically 2 seconds at the beginning are cut out that's just, "I had fun tonight." "Me too." I'm too lazy to fix this.
- Date night with Eddie.
- Eddie asks about the sigil (a small piece of wood painted with a symbol) William carries and if it has meaning.
- Embarrassed, William tries to say a sigil just a puzzle that means nothing. Technically, he's already figured out that it's something that can hide something from others and has to be broken at a specific time. It's a puzzle because he does not know why he has it or what it means.
- He takes Eddie's hand to get him out of that so Eddie decides it's kissing time!!!
- Mid kiss Eddie starts to think about how he wants to tell him he loves him. Specifically, "William Kaplan I love you." This freaks him out, for different reasons than you might expect.
- He tries to explain it to him by saying that three years ago he died and came back different, "something more". And that he's not William Kaplan not entirely and he wants Eddie to know who he is, the real him, because he's the only thing that's made him feel normal and... because He loves him too.
- Eddie is in fact really cool about all of this if a little stunlocked and repeats the "too?" part so William flails and says he loves him period.
- A lil more kissing and Eddie asks the question: If you're not William who are you
- OKAY SO THIS IS NOT SHOWN BUT PLEASE UNDERSTAND BILLY GETS FEW HAPPY MEMORIES. THIS IS IT THIS IS HIS ONLY ONE. SO. WHEN THEY ENTER THE HOUSE THEY DO NOT ESCAPE THE KAPLANS. JEFF KAPLAN MUST TRIED TO FEED ALL BILLYS BOYFRIENDS EVEN AFTER THEY JUST CAME BACK FROM A DATE. ANYWAYS. The Kaplans are perfect parents. They're very doting. They great the boys in, ask how things were, offer them desert. ETC. They very clearly love their son. They very clearly love his boyfriend and everything in this interaction (tho it'd be short) is so, so easy. And William is happy tho ..... obviously there's some lingering guilt like [ he is not their real son ] do not look at it too hard he loves them and he [ is who he is because that's what they needed him to be ] DON'T LOOK AT IT TOO HARD IT'S JUST CUTE FAMILY FOR LIKE 5 MINUTES.
- And then the boys go upstairs and you learn that William's entire floor is just........ a mess of research. OOCly for Phoenix he more-or-less gets a Westview incident information dump and some like witchy and general Earth lore. Because most of that only makes sense in this scene and the follow up. Anyone viewing it can learn that the Avengers are a superhero group. He's in a superhero world. With witchcraft.
- William explains he's been researching about this and trying to find someone to talk to and he found someone to talk to... He's a weird man on the internet he's never met named Bohnerific69. Eddie is judging him, I'm adorably trusting?
Stay tuned for Date Night 2 the next day (it'll go so well)

links: 4mins, , this also technically includes the final goodbye scene in wv there's no way i'm writing this as impactfully as i can, so please watch the clip!!
🖤 You find yourself in a morgue and you are in a hospital gown. So is [ Agatha ]. Above you purple-ish glow lights tick down the time. You are in a trial. And moments before someone else was in this trial, too. You stare at the spot where she had been. "Where did she go? Agatha?!"
💙 Agatha adjusts her top and throws a strand of hair back. Where you were panicking she seems unbothered as she answers you, "The Road gave her what she's missing. And now she's gone. This can end right here, right now. I came here for power. You have power." You shake your head in disbelief. "Juice me up."
🖤 "So you get what you're missing and I'm left here to rot?" You demand, " - or worse? You take all my power." The implication is there. If she does that she will kill you.
💙 "I wouldn't," she tries. You're having none of it. "Liar!" You shout. Above you two lights flicker off. "I won't." You get closer to her face for this one, "Liar." Two more lights tick off.
🖤 "Sit down," she tells you. It's a change in conversation so you ask, "Why?" You glance away noticing as two more lights tick down.
💙 Agatha moves to sit first, "We're going to find your brother."
🖤 "What?" You stare down at her. You don't believe her. You want to believe her. You can't trust her. You don't move.
💙 "That's what you want, right?" Agatha inquires knowingly, "Tommy isn't waiting out there. Not in a body, Anyway. That's what got Rio in such a tizzy. She thinks you can do it for him."
🖤 "Do what?" Your own question is immediate but in your heart - you must know. It's why Agatha sounds annoyed as she explains, "Give him another life! Another spin around the dance floor!" You breathe out, "You think I can bring Tommy back?" It's a question and a statement. Agatha huffs and nods.
💙 You shake your head, "I don't know how I did it."
🖤 "You never do," she comments, patting the space in front of her and ordering, "time to grow up." You hesitate and then you sit on your knees before her.
💙 "Close your eyes," she instructs you, voice gentler now. A light ticks and you close your eyes. "Your last moments with Tommy. Tell me."
🖤 "I don't remember anything," you grit in frustration.
💙 "You do. It's there," she coaxes - you shake your head, "try. You were ten. You lived in Westview. You and your brother -"
🖤 It comes to you before she finishes. Your mother and I are so proud of you both, your father's voice echoes in your mind, a distant memory. Boys, thanks for choosing me to be your mom, your mother's addition is tearful, a last look at her sons. Above it all is the sound of breathing. Tommy.
💙"I was - about to fall asleep," you start, comforted by the sound of your brother's breathing, "I realize - I'm breathing at the same time as Tommy. He's not snoring, but it's heavy enough to listen to. It's nice. The feeling when your body knows it's safe."
🖤 "Breathe with him," Agatha instructs once more and obediently you take a deep breath - gain the rhythm from that memory. You stop momentarily even as you hear it and feel it - Tommy's breathing. "Breathe," Agatha orders.
💙 "The sound of him - It stops because everything else does," you tell her. There's a quiet welling of panic as you hear it - the whirling sound of a collapsing world.
🖤 "That's your mother folding her world. That's okay. It's okay," Agatha tells you, trying to keep you calm.
💙 "We have said goodbye before, so it stands to reason - " " - We'll say hello again." It's your parents. You can hear them because you hear everything. Their heartfelt, sorrowful goodbye as the world shrinks further and further.
🖤 "You keep breathing," Agatha continues. Tommy's breath becomes your focus. "Even if you can't hear him you don't have to open your eyes to know how close he is. Breathing together." His breath is a roar in your mind, louder with each sharp intake. "You breathe for yourself. You breathe for everything he is. You hold it all inside of you, but it can't stay there. The memories, the feelings, you can't keep them. Keep your eyes closed. No matter what."
💙 The breathing is loud. You breathe heavily too. When she grasps you on both sides of your skull you give a startled cry - You can feel the change in the air. The electricity as it shorts out. It's magick. You do not open your eyes. And though you feel the crackling pops, you do not notice as your mind - your sole focus remains on the breathing. On Tommy.
🖤 It's painful. You grunt for bursts of air. Agatha's fingers dig into your skull. She's more commanding now - urgent. "You can't keep him. So where does he go?"
💙 "I don't know!" You cry out, nearly hyperventilating as you rock back and forth. "Find him a place!" She continues to command.
🖤 "It's black!"The world is empty save for the last lingering red of magick, sound muffled. "There's nothing!"
💙 "He floats. He looks down," she guides you - or tries - and it's everything you can to concentrate on her voice. It's painful as you grasp at her arms, breathing heavily. "What does he see?"
🖤 "He's afraid!" You declare. The world still feels empty and warbled, but there's movement. "Oh but he has you with him now," She reminds you, a touch shrilly. You rock back and forth, gritting out, "I can't find him a place."
💙"Oh don't give me that! A hundred and twenty bodies empty out every minute!" She tells you as you gasp for breath, an unrelenting mistress in this task, "find one!"
🖤 There. You're underwater. And then you're not. You're a boy looking down at the pool - Before you can do anything someone pushes you in. "It's underwater! There's a boy. It's a prank - they tricked him," you pant as you see it. As you experience it. A boy surrounded by others who fling water in his direction as one pushes his head into the water, not letting him come up for air. "He's going to down! It's a bad place."
💙 "Oh, it usually is," Agatha agrees. You feel him drowning. You feel him struggling. He can't breathe - You can't breathe. "The people - the family - there's no one to love him! He's got no one."
🖤 He stops struggling.
💙 "Agatha!"You cry. His last moments. He was dead. "Am I killing this boy so my brother can live?" It's a strangled sound. Heartbroken. Confused. And then the boy - Tommy - is pulling himself up to breathe and at the same moment you give a heartwrenching scream as the vision ends.
🖤 Would he kill to save his brother? (He's afraid of that answer. He knows the answer.)

- Pulls up in front of an empty lot in Westview. For those who've seen at least one of his memories when he looks at it this will register as his childhood home (for Phoenix it absolutely registers as "this is where Wanda Maximoff lived with her family")
- He's here with a plan and pulls out a spellbook to look at the information for a release spell
- As he's getting ready to get out his boyfriend texts him:
E: Tonight was crazy
B: So crazy 🥶(it's melting face emoji)
B: Thanks for protecting me
E :You're my 🖤
- "This is a great idea," Billy puts his phone away and goes to scale Agatha's house and manages to make it into her room and find a locket before breaking a lamp
- She comes and so follows the most atheletic witches in all of WV trying to climb down from the house
- She threatens to call the cops and he's just like please don't call the cops this will go on my permanent record I am trying to help you
- Sharon hits him with a car door and that's how he ends up in Agatha's house for a very......... it's an interrogation scene alright
- You learn that he came here to try and help her by releasing her from a spell she's under (which is why she's acting so weird) and that he's there because he wants to go onto the Witch's Road
- This whole scene is just shenanigans, please watch
- Eventually he starts getting through to her so he tries to cast the spell but she doesn't like that and closes eyes.... he barely resists getting duct taped and thrown in the closet. "Come on, I don't wanna go back in the closet"

4 minutes!!
🖤 The memory starts to the sky above you is a ghastly, unnatural shade of green and the wind is picking up. You are in a neighborhood and you know something is wrong - [ Agatha ] is in trouble. You can feel it from here. You take to the sky.
💙 It takes only moments to find her: A beaten figure tied to a pole as a woman, scary and deadly, approaches with slow eagerness and a knife in hand.
🖤 You're at full power. Rather you realize it or not this alone is enough to short-circuit the entire neighborhood. The lights burst in the house behind the woman startling her. It proves not to be a fluke as every garden light explodes with it and before she can react - You throw her through the side of the house without ever lifting a finger.
💙 You land next to [ Agatha ] who watches you in amazement. Your approach is somewhat cautious as you pull down the hood of your cape. "You look good," she compliments. Your response is immediate, "You don't." You give a small smile.
🖤 A quiet moment. You don't feel hesitance so much as uncertainty- You want to believe in her. "Don't take it all," you request of her - and before she can ask what you blast her with your power. You know, in doing this, you open yourself to her. That Agatha steals magick only when people blast her and if she takes it all: you will die. Yet, you do this willing.
💙 The act heals her and gives her back her power and slowly, as it does, your own life begins to fade. She takes a lot and could take more - She doesn't. She breaks the connection. And as much as she's taken your own magick begins to replenish itself almost immediately.
🖤 "Looks like you two are finally on the same page!" The woman [ Rio ] that you had thrown into the wall exclaims approaching, "so I'll let you decide. One of you stays with me. The other walks free."
💙 [ Agatha ] gathers her power, but before you can get to your feet [ Rio ] throws you into the roof of a greenhouse.
🖤 Miraculously you do not pass out - perhaps because the outfit you now wear consists of a giant protection spell - but your head hurts and your ears ring (because that's not protected). You can make out the sounds of the women in the garden fighting - flirting even - as you make your way out.
💙 You return to the scene at the moment that [ Agatha ] gets sent flying and furiously you gesture with your hand to send [ Rio ] flying into the house once more and race to [ Agatha's ] side.
🖤 "This is futile. You know it," [ Agatha ] comments, shaking her head, "we can't fight Death." And you know this to be true - you've known this the entire time you've come to face her - that [ Rio ] is Death, Death of all the universe.
💙 "It should be me," [ Agatha ] decides. You're quick to shake your head - to break - to plead, no. "It should be me," she reiterates, firmly. You look down not wanting to accept this, but Agatha uses two fingers to take your chin in her hands to make you look at her.
🖤 "You're not bad," she remarks sincerely with a smile.
💙 "Neither are you," you return with a brief, grateful smile. [ Agatha ] strokes your chin as she laughs softly, "You're the only one who thinks so."
🖤 Lightning strikes and thunder crashes turning both of your attention to the house once more. Inside, Death ominously brings herself to her feet - fixing a broken neck. You look briefly at Agatha before hurriedly moving to put yourself between the two women.
💙 "I'll go with you," you proclaim, "that's my choice. Take me."
🖤 Agatha gets up and walks past you, gesturing, "Take him." What? "You heard him. The boy. As promised."
💙 Death laughs as if she's seeing [ Agatha ] for what she's always known her to be. Agatha looks at you and then back again, "It's over."
🖤 You can't speak. Something in you breaks - the belief you had in - the betrayal in the action when you've thought the two of you finally had seen each other. You had meant what you'd said moments ago, but now - the betrayal stings more than the oncoming moment as you watch her walk away, telling Death to restore order to her back yard..
💙 "But - but," you finally start to stammer out, choking on the words, "I thought you were -" Different. You cared. Something. It doesn't come and instead Agatha finishes for you.
🖤 "What can I say?" She hmms throwing her hands out, "I'm a covenless witch." Lightning flashes and she begins to laugh a haunting sound as she turns away once more - leaving you to your fate.
Just noting some important things!:
🖤 Please consider: this kid threw around the cosmic entity of Death not once but TWICE. This is his power level.
💙 If you've seen at least one memory of Phoenix's before there's a sense of wholeness that hasn't been in any other memory! While it's definitely evident here, I'll be doing a headcanon memory later for it. It is not the focus!!
🖤 Jac tells us that Agatha likes having Billy around because he makes her feel less hungry. Agatha, magically, is like a bottomless pit. Billy as a being of chaos magic is filled with magic - essentially overflowing life magic. This is important because obviously when Agatha starts taking in his magic Billy is dying, but the amount she has to take is enormous. She is capable of being fully repowered by him and no longer hungry (momentarily). The feeling of dying/life being sucked away is extremely apparent, but he has an over abundance amount of that magick so he starts to recover immediately (:
💙 something something if this isn't the hint that billy is supposed to become a cosmic entity in the mcu himself ala comics i'll eat my shirt

🖤 The vision starts with you and four women at the entryway to a very fancy, expensive looking well-kept house. "The Road changes for the Coven," [ Agatha ] remarks idly. "The Road changes us, too!" An older woman [ Sharon ] exclaims as you all look down at yourselves. Outfits and hair styling different than your usual attires - everything on you gone save for personal effects.
💙 "It's giving - Middle-aged, second chance at love vibes and I am here for it," you muse as each of you begin to walk further into the house to explore.
🖤 The group quickly realizes that no matter how fancy the house looks: There is no escape from it. The door knobs to the outside are gone and there's no way to open windows.
💙 You, curious, hardly follow along on the other's conversation as you investigate and find the invitation on the mantle. The Witches' Road cordially invites you to the First Trial one side of the postcard says on one side. And on the other is a riddle:
I'm no fun alone,
I mess with your mind,
My tricks are well known.
🖤 As a group you try to parse its meaning - [ Jen ] antagonizing [ Agatha ] = when the older woman [ Sharon ] turns around and exclaims, "Wine!" [ Alice ] says she's correct and the group turns to see that five wine glasses and a bottle of wine has appeared.
💙 [ Sharon ] goes for the wine but [ Alice ] stops her reminding her that they don't know what will happen if they drink from it. [ Agatha ] ill-amused says of course they know something bad, but they have to do it or they can't move on. Reluctantly, they start to pick up their glasses.
🖤 Knowing where the built in bar is you offer to go look while [ Jen ] joins you. "heyyyy," she approaches once you're alone, "a bit of advice. Watch your back with Agatha." You smile politely and turn away, "I know how people feel about her." Because you really do know what people feel about her, at least the coven.
💙 "Did you know she traded her own child for the book of the Damned?" Jen inquires with the tilt of her head. You stop then - looking at her in concerned disbelief - you shake your head. "That can't be true."
🖤 You quiet uncomfortably, partly in disbelief. Jen goes on saying that Oh, yeah you're probably right. She comments that Agatha's son might be a demon or even an agent of Mephisto - But what can you expect with Agatha Harkness as a mom? She probably wouldn't even recognize her own son. She finds the corkscrew and leaves you there.
💙 [ Agatha ] pours the drinks and no one goes for it. "If you're waiting for a charcuterie, I don't think it's coming," she remarks and [ Sharon ] is the first to drink - downing the whole glass in a single gulp while the others watch. When she feels the judging she comments that she's had a very hard day - do not judge her!
🖤 On the mantle the timer starts: 30 minutes. "To Harbingers of Doom?" [ Agatha ] asks as they clink their glasses together - You eagerly move to grab the empty glass asking if you can have some. Everyone but [ Agatha ] says no while [ Sharon ] grabs the bottle both to keep it away from you and pour the rest in the cup for herself. "Should we take the girl talk to the sofa?" She asks.
💙 You sit next to [ Alice ] and try to strike up conversation by asking about her tattoo. She's quick to move her arm and dismisses your question forcing you to awkwardly look away. After a moment, she tells you: "Got it in Colorado. My mom was playing red rocks." "That symbol wards of curses, right?" "She, um, made me get it because she said - uh = all the women in our family were cursed... She wasn't well."
🖤 "How old were you?"
💙 "...Thirteen, maybe?"
🖤 You smile understandingly, "A lot happened to me at thirteen, too."
💙 "... I miss your eyeliner, but the hair's cute," she compliments, smiling back. You give a small laugh.
🖤 [ Sharon ] asks if a witch is just another name for a bad girl which sets off [ Lilia ] much to the rest of the witches gathered - She talks about the commercialization and generalization the entertainment industry has given witchcraft.
💙 "Well, I won't say I want to join the club or anything, but I would drink the blood of a virgin if it would smooth out some of these wrinkles," [ Sharon ] commentates and [ Alice ] shares a look with you before looking back at [ Sharon ] and exclaiming Oh My God.
🖤 [ Sharon's ] face is now deformed and, well, everyone is aghast. [ Alice ] tries to calmly take control calling her Mrs. Hart. [ Sharon ] corrects her telling her name is Sharon and [ Alice ] tries to explain the situation while, slowly, the rest of the coven's faces also start to become deformed and...
💙 "We've been poisoned."
🖤 [ Agatha ] makes herself scarce. [ Jen ] begins drilling Sharon on what she's experiencing to try and assess the poison. [ Lilia ] goes out of sorts and randomly says that she loves you guys to everyone's confusion and doesn't seem to realize she did it. And then just like that, the effects of the poison's bloating seem to wear off.
💙 The other's begin to celebrate but Jen shuts it down saying that it can only be one time of poison: Alewife's Revenge Face swelling is just the beginning. Next is dizziness, delirium, loss of motor function, racing heart, hallucinations, and then death. You're only half listening because you're looking in your spellbook and failing to find Alewife
Billy I swear to god.🖤 [ Agatha ] declares she has to get out of there and begins trying to break open the window which barely even cracks before [ Alice ] grabs her arm and takes it from her.
💙 "You didn't drink the poison. You can't cheat Agatha," you comment finding the glass. Agatha aghast demands to know who said she couldn't to which everyone in the coven tells her differently. She tells them you didn't drink but they're quick to refute that you are not in the coven... and also underage. The bickering continues until Agatha takes it from you and throws the cup on the ground.
🖤 Unfortunately for Agatha! A glass begins refilling itself and everyone stares at her. "Drink," you demand of her and Agatha shoots you a disbelieving look. You huff. "Fine. Then I will, you state and move to take the cup. Agatha moves quickly, grabbing you by the arm and pulling you back with a startled, "No!" When you look at her she gives a tiny, worried shake of her head.
💙 Reluctantly, but not wanting you to drink it, Agatha downs the wine in a gulp and acts irritated by the taste.
🖤 "Please - please - " A quiet terrified voice says from behind the group. You turn and you see Sharon looking distant, reliving a haunting memory, she pleads, "Wanda. Wanda. I'm begging you. Let him breathe. Please." She's gasping for air as she passes out onto the couch. You and [ Alice ] rush to help her.
💙 "So... the hallucinations seem chill," you worry.
🖤 "Hey, potions witch," Agatha calls to [ Jen ], "it's time to brew an antidote. The other woman nods.

People can choose one of two viewing methods for this memory (whichever is more fun honestly but as a quick guideline):
1. If the person feels especially close to Phoenix or has seen a few of his memories they can view it from his perspective. Which AAA describes as a feeling of "seeing yourself on TV in your own head," it's kind of like being trapped in your own mind! But also living your life! It's not very fun.
2. You simply see it as if you were watching the episode, because Wandavision is just like this. (:
Either way.
The vision starts showing with an era typical family sitcom opening. If you choose method 1 you are absolutely acting this out.
There's not a lot of good clipping but 2:29-4:27 gets the jist of it.
- Starts with Billy coming downstairs in a homemade halloween costume (if you've seen his Wiccan fit it Absolutely looks like a childish version of that) talking about how great Halloween is. Tommy counters him saying why he thinks Halloween is the best. They do this speaking to the audience directly.
- Billy is lowkey afraid of Pietro who is sleeping on the couch and Tommy teases him because "he's our uncle and he's asleep at 4pm and you think he's a vampire" Pietro wakes up and chases the boys around the living room via super speed
- Wanda comes down and the boys judge her Halloween costume and then go play games with Uncle P while their parents argue a bit. Specifically about how it's the twins first Halloween and Wanda wants Vision to be there, but Vision has other plans. This can be overheard.
- Billy does another pan to camera talking about how mom and dad aren't fighting but they're fighting.
- Pietro volunteers to be the boys male chaperone for the day and runs off for matching costumes with Tommy.
- Spends the entire night teaching the boys to do things like smash pumpkins, steal candy, and t-p houses (okay it's like 5 minutes because it's superspeed and Wanda tells him to stop)
- Wanda them return the candy but then the boys learn there's full sized candy bars!!! Can they go!!! Tommy runs off in a blink of an eye and comes back with some and they're like WOAH Tommy you have super speed!! He now matches Pietro!
- Tommy zooms around all over the place until Wanda stops him and tells him to take his brother with him if he's going to break the sound barrier and the boys run off to get more candy.
- Towards later in the night Billy and Tommy are back in the town square when he starts hearing something. This is when his telepathy awakens. For Billy this would be incredibly noisy because we now know [ the entire town is trapped in their heads in a similar way ] and young Billy feels pretty much the entire town. His telepathy focuses on Vision, however, as he's trying to escape to get help for the town.
- He stops Tommy mid superspeed sprint with telekinesis and they run off to find Wanda to try and get help.
- Billy says dad's in trouble, Wanda asks about where he is but Billy is obviously very scared/closed to a panic attack and can't focus.
- Pietro decides at this moment to go "Why worry about your dead husband he can't die twice?" so Wanda blasts the boys uncle across the town square right in front ofh er two scared 10yrolds
- She tells Billy to focus and he's able to see into the mind of his father/the soldiers and tell her that he sees him surrounded by soldiers who thinks he's dying.
- Wanda immediately breaks off to expand Westview which from the boys perspective is....... literally everyone around them stops moving. And then it ends

🖤 The memory starts on a very important day. You're thirteen and you're nervously and excitedly getting ready. Your hair and the suit you're putting on just right. In some ways this is the most important day of your life.
💙 You arrive at shul and the ceremony begins. You wrap the tallit around your shoulders and move to gently, carefully hoist the clothed scroll torah to your shoulder. The congregation awaits for you to pass, with each person within reach pressing their own tallit or torah to the one you hold. You make your way down the middle and place it down. As everyone settled, the scroll is unraveled to the right section, and you are handed the yad to mark your place in the text you begin to read.
🖤 The ceremony ends and by Jewish custom this marks you as a man - an adult capable of making choices and following the mitzvahs. But in the modern age you are a thirteen-year-old boy and the fun for you comes after: in the party celebrating this monumental mile stone in your life and your birthday.
💙 For a little while you enjoy the party and the time with your friends. It's a wonderful celebration - there's a DJ. The entire party is magick themed with various tents and other magick going places to go to. There's so many people and then there's -
🖤 - You're father watching you with a smile from the table. You break away to go see him when he teases that you look like you're having fun. Me? Never, you say with a laugh as you sit with him taking a drink from the water bottle he passes you. He starts to ask if you'd eaten yet, but spots your mother coming over with a plate that they put in front of you.
💙 "Oooh, look at you. We are so proud of you," your mother coos, pressing a kiss to your cheek, "and we love you more than we could ever hope to communicate in human words." She presses another kiss to your cheek as your father leans his head against his hand watching fondly.
🖤 "Gross," you remark making a face. "Ew, you're gross."
💙 "You're both disgusting," your father says with total seriousness.
🖤 "Thank you," you say, glancing between them, with uncompromising love, "for - everything."
💙 "William!" A friend calls moving to pull you out of your seat, "come on, it's time!" Your dad pats you on the back to follow and your mother cheers. You embarrassedly follow asking about do you have to, this is so extra. But you do have to and the party goers raise you in the chair as is tradition and the party continues.
🖤 Later, because it would be a shame to not do your own magick party activities, you go to the fortune teller's tent to ask her to read for you. (For those who have seen other memories - the fortune teller is Lilia from other visions). "The past or ahead" She asks and hurriedly, "Ahead - I think. Yeah. Do ahead. Don't tell me everything, I don't want to know too much. Sorry, I - just pretend I'm not here."
💙 The woman begins to read and tells you that you have a long journey ahead of you, one of great transformation and then - And then she stops. The lights in the tent flicker ominously for several seconds and the woman says nothing.
🖤 "Your lifeline is broken in two," she abruptly declares, deadly serious.
💙 "What? That can't be good."
🖤 And then, like she's suddenly realizing who she is and what she's doing the seriousness turns to trying to correct course, to be comforting. "It can mean many things. It often represents personal growth and coming new changes. You're becoming a man. A new you. I wouldn't worry."
💙 For a moment you can believe her, smiling a little awkwardly, but just like before something shifts. She looks down and up at you, "The Tower Reversed."
🖤 "I thought you were reading my palm?" You question, perturbed glancing between her and your palm as she gasps out of her trance.
💙 "Oh, I'm sorry, I just remembered something - I think," she starts awkwardly and you try to smile, fail, and hurriedly pull your hand back. It's enough of getting your fortune - your tarot? - read by her for the day. Despite how unsettled you feel, you pause long enough to be polite and remark on how you enjoy the tent hurriedly.
🖤 You turn to leave and she stops you by grabbing your arm, "You don't need to be a psychic to see that you're a good egg. Enjoy the now, baby. It's the only thing that's certain."
💙 You go back to the party and for a while longer are able to enjoy the moments, dancing, and conversations with your friends until the music stops abruptly.
🖤 Turning, you see your father on stage at the microphone addressing the party. He tells them that something is happening with the anomaly in Westview and they've been ordered to evacuate to their homes. Everyone begins to hurriedly stampede to the doors at the behest of the emergency response team. You approach your parents who can't give you an answer only tell you hurriedly that they need to leave.
💙 On the ride home you can see the large, red-shaped barrier that surrounds Westview. It's large and imposing, but compared to it you're more distracted by the small block of wood you've found in your jacket and the worried franticness of your parents (for those who've viewed Phoenix's memories Williams Does Not feel this the way Billy would, but only in their unusual behavior).
🖤 Your parents become distracted watching it - questioning if it's getting smaller or going away - and realizing this you glance back. "Mom! Look out!" Your mother is about to drive headfirst into an oncoming car. She veers to avoid it and you go off-road instead, propelling into the woods.
💙 You see it coming but there is nothing you can do but pull yourself away against the momentum of the car as your side of the car slams into the tree, wrapping around it. This is the last moment of your short thirteen years.

notes: for canon/non-canon familiar, phoenix does NOT knows what he's closing. he might have an impression but he cannot know for sure because he doesn't have the context. the only thing that he'll 100% know is whatever it was people died there and in some cases he was the one who killed them.
🖤 The memory starts and you are upset, frustrated, and remorseful. You pull up to a house in the car - YOU [ and others who have seen it ] know you are at Agatha's house. You're on a determined mission as you park, enter through the back gate, and go into the basement.
💙 You stop within steps of a glowing blue door, swallowing. This is what you're here for - to close the door once and for all. Because you have the power to do so. You stare at it for longer than necessary, reminded of its meaning and all the pain it caused. [ You do not know the full context. The only thing you know is that, until now, it had been dangerous. ]
🖤 "Billy!*" the calling of your name snaps you out of your reverie with a gasp and a startled step back. Your head turns in its direction - There, laying on the washing/drying units without a care in the world, is Agatha. A ghost. She smiles at you, a ghostly smile, "Back to the scene of the crime?" (*Close CR/ask if you hear him called Billy!)
💙 You huff and realizing that she's mocking you start to get to work. You rummage through her shelves looking for useful items - "So what are we doing down here?" - You do not answer her as you find an item, glance at her and go to the next shelf.
🖤 "You have something of mine, I know you took it," You turn and stumble back into the shelf - Agatha is now in your face, demanding. You take another breath, ignore her, and grab what you dropped. You force yourself into that steely, emotionless (controlled) vacuum and continue on. "Just give me what I want and I'll be on my way."
💙 You move to the door and begin to draw in chalk: First the circle and then the star. Agatha watches mockingly asking about what you're doing. She's amused by your display of analog magick - a fully mocking lilt - until even she has to stop because in a single moment you light the several dozen black candles effortlessly. And in the next, you summon a book from somewhere in the room without even looking. A spell book - your spell book.
🖤 From your pocket you pull out a purple amulet as you stand. "Ah! Yes! Finally! Just hand it over," You pay her no mind as you grasp the amulet in hand and begin the incantation: Valia lucem. Relinque terrum. Naliese fantasmo. Over and over.
💙 "What are you doing?" Agatha questions, catching onto what you're doing. For the first time you pause in what you're doing, "I'm banishing you."
🖤 No, Agatha begins to panic but you continue on with your chanting. "No!"
💙 "You don't get another chance! Time to go towards the light or into Rio's toxic embrace," you start in hurried words the frustration there, and the final point driven, "I really don't care any more." And for the first time in your short life, you're angry enough to mean it. That you really don't care.
🖤 You return to your chanting and Agatha becomes more frantic. She tries to convince you that you're not capable of doing this - It worked on Wanda's spell you say and she laughs it off. That wasn't you. You continue on. And in fact the spell does begin to work - enough that Agatha's panic rises. It mingles with your anger, the feelings that come off her, and with each moment your own pitch rises. Agatha's panic and sorrow floods over you and even as she pleads with you, tries to tear the amulet away you try to fight it until - "Five seconds ago you were all bent out of shape about killing witches!"
💙 "Because you're already dead!
🖤 She tries desperately to take the amulet from your hand, but she is a ghost. She struggles to manifest it. It's like a fever pitch of emotion - your anger has started to dissipate into the fear, sorrow, and grief that radiates off of Agatha in her desperation.
💙 "Why are you still here? Why won't you just die?"
🖤 "Because I can't face him!" She exclaims and finally, finally manages to knock the amulet out of your hand. With it all of the candles go out. For a moment the room goes silent as you both watch the amulet roll away. She gasps a sorrowful sound.
💙 "Nicholas," you say turning to her, eyes still wet. The emotion still there as you swallow something back. She makes another soft sound and moves to pick up the amulet properly, placing it on her person.
🖤 The books gets put away, banishment forgotten, as you wipe a tear from your eye. A breath and then you try to comfort her, "I'm sure he'd forgive you... for whatever you did,"
💙 "See, it's when you say things like that -," Agatha says still turned away, but when she does turn it's with a fond, watery smile, "that you remind me of him."
🖤 You look down and back up. Down again with a tiny smile and then back again. The silence is gentle and then you say, "You picked it up."
💙 "I'm a quick study," Agatha remarks with her usual pride.
🖤 "Maybe being a ghost suits you. Spirit as my guide."
💙 She pauses. "We could make a good team," she starts with a wag of a finger and then and approving nod, "you and me."
🖤 "Coven two?" You inquire with an amused snort.
💙 "I do tend to kill my coven members."
🖤 "So do I," you remark with unflinching seriousness. Because you killed them. You are the reason they are dead and the guilt hangs on you. A responsibility you will not balk from and that's what you're here for -
💙 - you turn back to what you came here to do in the first place. Away from her and to the ground before you. To the place where they'd died. You take a breath and you summon the magick that now feels a part of you - new and freshly gained control of - you summon it. The house shakes. The electricity flickers. It takes an almost painful amount of concentration and then... As the magick settles the door is closed in its place is engraved concrete. First the symbol you'd drawn in the beginning and three names: Sharon Davis, Alice Wu-Gulliver, Lilia Calderu
🖤 When you look at her she looks back with a certain amount of what could be called pride and fondness as she approaches.
💙 "One door closes - "
🖤 " - and another opens." You look at her and then look briefly away. To the cellar door. With a short jerk of the head the door knocks white open into white light (assumedly a portal to somewhere else that you also just created... effortlessly cries).
💙 She smiles at you that same proud smile. "Let's go find Tommy." And together you ascend the stairs.
