After a helpful(?) suggestion the boys try an experiment to talk to the ship... Talking to the ship fails, but the Ticketmaster arrives and they have a discussion on what it means to communicate and how to communicate.
She leaves them telling them that they've yet to discover most of the ship and to do more with it experimenting and/or talking to the house ghosts would help. She informs them that this area [the subway?] she hadn't been able to access before.
